I founded Eternal Peace after being asked by customers to place ashes into custom glass art. But everything changed when I decided to make a few pieces using my father’s ashes.
What I found was something unexpected and powerful:

The Cremation Glass Process: Where Science and Soul Meet
Our process is meticulous, practiced, and sacred. It begins with something no machine can replicate: care and intention.
1. Learning Who They Were
Before we even touch the ashes, we ask the family to tell us about their loved one. We want to know who they were, what made them laugh, what they loved, how they lived. This connection fuels the spirit of every piece.
2. Sifting the Ashes
When we receive the ashes, we only work with one person or pet at a time. We use a custom-designed sifting cup to filter out only the finest, most delicate particles. This ensures the glass remains clear and the ash is safely incorporated.
3. The Moment of Infusion
When the glass is molten—glowing orange, and moving like honey, we either roll it through the sifted ashes or gently press it onto the surface using a graphite paddle.
This is where something magical happens.
The ashes react to the heat like fireworks, popping, shifting, and dancing in the flame. We call this the moment of life, as the ashes seem to come alive one last time. Tiny bursts and flickers remind us of energy, memory, and love. As we guide the ash on the glass, it behaves like liquid: it flows, shimmers, and forms its own unique path.
A subtle black rim forms around the ash, encasing it like a frame, an eternal signature of the soul it represents.
4. Sealing the Memory
Once the ash has been placed and shaped, we encase it in crystal-clear borosilicate glass—one of the strongest, most durable forms of glass in the world. Whether we sleeve it into a tube, wrap it in rods, or shape it into a marble or pendant, the ash is now preserved for eternity.

How to Send Us Ashes
We only need about 1–2 teaspoons of ashes per piece. Sending a bit more is okay, we’ll return any unused ashes with your finished item.
After placing your order, we’ll guide you through the process and send clear instructions. Then, your assigned glassblower will contact you directly to talk about your loved one.
